Instructions
1) Unplug the ice maker.
2) Remove the ice bin and empty any ice that is in it.
3) Wipe down the inside of the ice maker with a wet cloth.
4) Fill the ice maker with water and let it sit for a few minutes.
5) Turn on the ice maker and let it run for a few minutes.
6) Remove any ice that is in the ice bin and replace the bin.
7) Plug in the ice maker.
Cleaning the exterior of the ice maker:
The exterior of the ice maker can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Make sure to avoid getting water inside the ice maker.
Removing the ice bin and cleaning it:
The ice bin can be removed and cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. Be sure to dry it completely before replacing it.
Cleaning the water reservoir:
The water reservoir can be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm water.
Cleaning the ice chute:
The ice chute can be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm water.
Cleaning the interior of the ice maker:
The interior of the ice maker can be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm water. Make sure to remove any ice build-up from the freezing mechanism.
Removing the filter and cleaning it:
The filter can be removed and cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. Be sure to dry it completely before replacing it.
Calibrating the ice maker:
If the ice maker is not producing the desired amount of ice, it may need to be calibrated. This can be done by following the manufacturer’s instructions.
